A look back at 2024: A big year for tiny houses

As the year draws to a close, it is a great time to look back on an extraordinary 2024. At Tiny.nl, we were once again able to contribute to wonderful projects in the field of tiny houses, chalets and informal care homes this year. It was a year full of innovation, growth and meaningful moments. Let's go through some of the highlights together.

Tiny houses: live small, live big

The popularity of tiny houses continues to grow. This year, we saw an increasing demand for sustainable and smart solutions for compact living. Not only private individuals, but also recreational parks and care institutions embraced the advantages of tiny houses. Our customers especially appreciated the customisation options, which allowed them to realise their own unique home.

One of the highlights was designing a tiny house that is completely energy-neutral and equipped with innovative technologies such as solar energy and rainwater harvesting. This project underlines how tiny living fits perfectly with a sustainable lifestyle.

Chalets: luxury in a compact format

Chalets were also a big trend in 2024. More and more people discovered the charm of these luxury recreational homes, which offer the ideal balance between comfort and nature. The initial response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to growing further in this region by 2025.

One project that has stuck with us is the development of a tiny house village in the middle of nature.
