All our Tiny Houses are sustainably built, very well insulated and fully equipped with LED lighting. We do not use a gas connection as standard. The house is heated by electric underfloor heating and cooked on an induction hob. Thanks to the high insulation value of the house and the LED lighting, power consumption is minimal. But did you know that we also supply Tiny Houses that are completely self-sufficient?
Completely Off-grid Tiny House
Are you looking for a way to live self-sufficiently without depending on utilities? Then consider a completely off-grid Tiny House, this way you have no monthly utility costs and you can also place the Tiny House more easily in places where these facilities are limited. What does off-grid mean? Well quite simply that your Tiny House is not connected to the electricity and water grid. This means that the system is completely independent and self-sufficient. Think solar panels, a water storage system, an economical boiler-heating combo that can be connected to a 12V battery, and a composting toilet.
Semi-offgrid Tiny House
Do you think the above options might be just a bit too far? You don't have to live completely off-grid. There is also an option called semi-off-grid. This means that your Tiny House is partially self-sufficient. You could, for instance, opt for solar panels on your roof to generate electricity for lighting and power points. Heating is done via a gas tank or wood stove. The same goes for cooking. For sewage and/or water, you connect the Tiny House to the grid, for instance.
